Meat, would you like to eat?

Talking about vegetarianism, many people think
that it will lead towards malnutrition. They believe that the vegetarians will
not get enough nutrients and will become weak but with the advancement of
science in our modern society, such concept has been proved wrong.
According to the scientists and the doctors,
humans are made to be vegetarians, since many parts of our body tell us to be
so. For example, our intestine, the length of our intestine is about 10-20
times more than the length of our body. So we need more time for digestion. If
we leave meat decaying for too long in our body, it will poison the bloodstream
and thus increase the burden of the liver.
While talking about the digestion in human body,
the question may arise ‘what about the carnivorous animals?” Well the answer is
that the carnivorous animals have stronger digestive system than us by 20
times. Their intestines are not as lengthy as ours. It is only about 3 times the
length of their body. Hence the flesh gets digested swiftly and does not stay
too long in the body.
In addition, meat contains a lot of uric acid
and urine elements which will burden the function of kidney. It may lead to
kidney sickness and inflammation of the joints. Cholesterol or the fat of the
animals is difficult to be melted and digested completely in our body. With
this fat the blood is thickened and may lead to diseases such as hardening of
arteries, high BP, and so on.
The meat is harmful in itself and the use of
lots of antibiotics, coloring, preservation, pesticides and so on makes it even
worse. Many times animals die because of overdose of such chemicals and
injection. In fact, they die because they are contaminated by chemicals before
they are killed. A man who eats such animals is encouraging the growth of
cancerous cells.
There are many vegetables and fruits through
which we can fulfill
our hunger and can be very delicious. But instead of eating them we love eating
the body of innocent animals that have life and want to live. This shows how
cruel and inhuman we are though we are humans.
Green vegetables and fruits belong to the
category of salty food. They help the blood to maintain its salty condition.
Besides, such a person who eats vegetables will feel refreshed, energetic and full
of endurance. S/he will be healthy and lead a long life.
